Pepe (with a name like that you can't miss the Italian heritage) first developed a love of fine stationery at age ten while on a trip to Venice and Florence with his parents. Pepe was amazed at not only the beauty but also at the variety of paper and stationery available. It is that trip that Pepe attributed to his desire to open his own paperie business. Inspired by the endless selection of high quality stationery and pens available both in Australia and around the world, Pepe decided to realise his dream and open a paperie. After much refining and research, 2003 saw Pepe open his first paperie business in Woden, Canberra, trading as Pepe's Paperie. Following the success of the Woden store a second store was opened at Bondi Junction, Sydney NSW and then a third in Civic Canberra.
Pepe's Paperie prides itself on a selection of products from Australia and around the world. Each store is a treasure trove of quality products including stylish pens, notebooks, journals, photo albums, leather goods, cards, gift wrap and much more. For those, like Pepe, who have a passion for fine stationery, there is an abundance to interest and delight. Pepe is dedicated at building a reputation for stocking good quality luxury products at an affordable price. His goal includes giving customers an exciting and pleasurable experience when shopping for paper and stationery products.
